Legend says that once a slave mistakenly dropped some rice into his samurai masters tea as it was brewing . Unfortunately this cost the slave his life but as the master realized he was delighted with the taste he named the tea ” Genmaicha” in honor of the deceased man.

Brewing Guide
2 to 3 tsp per medium pot infused for 3-4 mins at 90c (Guide only, please adjust to suit personal taste).
