Made from mulberry trees, the washi paper is very durable, so you can use them every day in the kitchen without worrying too much about damaging the paper.

This Japanese tea canister is originally designed to hold approximately 200g of leaf tea, specifically sencha or green tea. The actual amount of leaf tea the canister will hold depends very much on the type of tea. A bulkier tea such as a herbal tea with buds and fruit pieces will fill the tea tin with less weight.
Origami canisters have a washi paper finish and come with an airtight freshness seal inside.The pretty washi paper tins also make great gift packaging for small gifts like jewellery or sweets. Suitable for storage of dry contents only.
Both the steel tea tin and PET plastic lid are fully recyclable.
