This Japanese tea canister is originally designed to hold approximately 200g of leaf tea, specifically sencha or green tea. The actual amount of leaf tea the canister will hold depends very much on the type of tea.
These Japanese tea tins are beautiful for all kinds of kitchen storage including tea leaves, coffee, dried herbs and spices.
The pretty washi paper tins also make great gift packaging for small gifts like jewellery or sweets.
Suitable for storage of dry contents only.
Both the steel tea canister and PET plastic lid are fully recyclable.
Do not wash in water. The washi paper is durable enough for every day use in the kitchen. Spot clean only with a soft dry, or very lightly dampened cloth.
